Add-on Packages

Add-on packages extend your Nembl workspace with ready-made capability: workflows, roles, intake forms, agents, and a responsibility-matrix template, installed into your company in one step and kept current by Nembl.

How packages work

  • Install a package from Admin → Add-ons. Installation provisions the package's content into your company — the workflows, roles, forms, and services become yours, tagged with the package and version they came from.
  • Versions. Your installation pins a package version. Managed installations receive new versions automatically; self-managed installations upgrade when you choose.
  • Seats. Anyone in your company can submit requests to a package's services — that never requires a seat. A seat is for people who operate the package: assigning a member one of the package's roles authorizes their seat automatically, and admins can manage seats from the add-on card's Manage users. Seats are the billable quantity for per-seat packages.
  • Setup. Packages that need connections (a repository, an API key) include a guided Set up checklist on the add-on card. The checklist shows exactly what's missing and verifies each connection before your first run.

Billing, lapse, and renewal

  • Add-ons bill monthly by default, even on an annual base plan — cancel anytime. Annual co-termination with your plan renewal is available as an option.
  • If a subscription lapses, execution pauses but nothing is deleted: your data, running history, and installed content remain visible. Renewing restores full access exactly where you left off — no re-install, no re-setup.
  • Usage allowances (for packages that meter runs) scale with seats and reset monthly. When you reach a limit, Nembl tells you plainly and nothing is charged beyond your subscription.

What's in a package

Every package declares its contents and requirements up front — you can inspect both on the package's catalog page before installing: the workflows and forms it provides, the roles it defines, the capabilities it enables, and the setup steps it will ask for.
