Add-ons

Add-ons are paid extensions you can layer on top of your Nembl plan: extra capacity, optional features, and packaged integrations. They bill separately from your base subscription and are managed independently.

Open from Admin → Add-ons.

For your base plan and core subscription, see Plans & Pricing.

Add-on types

CategoryExamples
CapacityExtra Workflows beyond your plan limit, extra Inboxes, extra Forms, additional chatbotMsgsPerMonth
FeaturePremium AI Agents (e.g. higher-tier providers / models), advanced analytics dashboards, longer audit retention
IntegrationPre-built connectors to specific vendors (Slack, GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow) without custom configuration
ComplianceSOC 2 evidence pack, ISO 9001 audit support, dedicated tenant

What's available depends on your plan tier — Starter has fewer add-ons than Business.

Browsing add-ons

The Add-ons page shows two sections:

Available

Add-ons your plan is eligible for but hasn't enabled yet. Each card shows:

  • Name + icon
  • Short description
  • Price — typically per-month, occasionally per-use
  • Detail link — opens a modal with the full description, what it includes, and any prerequisites
  • Enable button — adds it to your subscription on the next billing cycle (or immediately, with prorated charge, depending on the add-on)

Enabled

Add-ons currently active on your account. Each card shows:

  • Name + statusACTIVE, PENDING_ACTIVATION, EXPIRES_<date>
  • Started on — when you enabled it
  • Renewal date — next billing
  • Usage (for capacity add-ons) — e.g. "12 / 25 extra workflows used"
  • Manage — open detail to disable, change quantity, or view invoices

Enabling an add-on

  1. Find the add-on in Available
  2. Click Enable
  3. Confirm the price and effective date in the dialog
  4. Click Confirm

The add-on activates immediately for feature add-ons, or on the next billing cycle for capacity add-ons (with optional prorated charge — check the dialog).

Disabling

Open the add-on from Enabled, click Disable. Most add-ons disable at the end of the current billing period (you keep what you paid for); a few — usually one-time packaged integrations — disable immediately and refund unused time pro-rata.

If the add-on adds capacity (extra Workflows / Inboxes / etc.) and disabling would put you over your base-plan limit, Nembl flags this in the confirm dialog. You'll need to deactivate the surplus entities first, or accept that they'll be flagged as over-quota until you upgrade.

Billing & invoicing

Add-on charges roll up into the same monthly Stripe invoice as your base subscription. Line items make it explicit which charge is the base plan and which is each add-on. See Subscriptions for invoice access and payment-method management.
