Dashboard
The Dashboard is your landing page after signing in. It gives you a quick read on what's happening across your account: open work, recent activity, and shortcuts into the parts of Nembl you use most.
What you see depends on your role. Admins see organization-wide counts and a "Quick Create" panel; workers see their own queue, requests, and tasks.
Anatomy
Greeting
A time-aware greeting at the top ("Good morning", "Good afternoon", "Good evening") confirms the account context — your name, the current Company, and the current Organization within the company.
Stats — what's open right now
A row of count tiles for the things you most often need to act on:
- Open Requests — requests you can see that are not yet completed
- My Requests — requests you submitted or own
- My Tasks — tasks assigned to you (TODO + IN_PROGRESS)
- Available Services — services you can submit a request to
Each tile is a link — click to jump straight to the matching list.
Admin counts (Company admins only)
If you're a Company admin, you also see counts of:
- Organizations / Teams / Users
- Services / Workflows / Inboxes
These mirror the items in the Admin sidebar and let you spot growth or sudden drops at a glance.
Quick actions
A small panel of one-click shortcuts, scoped to what you can do:
- Workers — Browse Service Catalog, Submit Request, My Inbox, My Requests
- Admins — Create Service / Workflow / Inbox in addition to the worker shortcuts
Recent activity
A condensed feed of the last few notable things — requests that changed state, tasks assigned to you, agent decisions on your inbox. Click any row to open the affected entity.
Personalization
The Dashboard is read-only — there's nothing to configure here. To shape what shows up, change the underlying state:
- Pin services / workflows / inboxes you use often (the sidebar's pin icon adds them to your top-of-section)
- Set your work hours and timezone in Profile so timestamps render in your local time
- Tune Notifications so the activity feed surfaces what you care about — see Notification Preferences
When the Dashboard is empty
A fresh account shows zero counts and an empty activity feed — that's expected.
- Start by creating your first Service if you're an admin (Admin → Services → New Service)
- Submit a Request against an existing service if you're a worker
- The Dashboard will populate as soon as work flows through
If you've been using Nembl for a while and the Dashboard suddenly looks empty, check that you're in the right Company / Organization (the account switcher is in the header).
