Tracking Requests
Nembl gives you full visibility into the status of every request you submit or are involved in. From your dashboard, you can see where things stand, review the activity history, and follow the workflow progress in real time.
My Requests on the Dashboard
Your dashboard shows a My Requests section with all requests you have submitted. Each request displays:
- Request number — A unique identifier you can use to reference the request.
- Service and offering — What the request is for.
- Status — The current state (Open, Completed, Rejected, or Cancelled).
- Priority — The priority level set when the request was submitted.
- Date submitted — When you created the request.
- Assignee — Who is currently responsible for working on it, if assigned.
Click on any request to open its detail view.
Request Detail View
The request detail page gives you a complete picture of your request. It includes several sections:
Summary
At the top, you will see the request title, status, priority, and the form data you submitted. This is the information the processing team uses to work on your request.
Activity Log
The activity log is a chronological record of everything that has happened with your request. It shows:
- Status changes (for example, "Request accepted by IT Team")
- Inbox movements (for example, "Forwarded to Desktop Support")
- Task updates (for example, "Task 'Order Laptop' completed by Jane Smith")
- Comments from you or the processing team
- Workflow phase transitions
New entries appear at the top of the log so the most recent activity is always visible.
Workflow Timeline
If your request is connected to a workflow, the workflow timeline shows you a visual representation of the process. You can see:
- Which phases have been completed (shown with a checkmark).
- Which phase is currently active (highlighted).
- Which phases are still ahead.
- How long each phase took to complete.
This gives you a sense of how far along your request is and what steps remain.
Tasks
If the request has been broken down into tasks, you can see the task list with:
- Task name and description
- Who it is assigned to
- Current status (Open, In Progress, Completed)
- Due date, if set
You cannot edit tasks on a request you submitted (that is up to the processing team), but you can see the progress.
Notifications
Nembl sends you notifications when important things happen with your requests:
- Request accepted — Someone has started working on your request.
- Status change — The request moved to a new state or workflow phase.
- Comment added — Someone left a comment or question on your request.
- Task completed — A task related to your request was finished.
- Request completed — Your request has been fully processed.
- Request rejected — Your request was not accepted, with an explanation.
You can customize which notifications you receive and how (in-app, email, or both). See Notification Preferences for details.
Adding Comments
You can add comments to your request at any time while it is open. Comments are useful for:
- Providing additional information the team needs.
- Answering questions from the person processing your request.
- Noting changes in your requirements or timeline.
To add a comment, open the request and type in the comment box at the bottom of the activity log. Your comment will be visible to everyone involved in the request.
Searching and Filtering Requests
If you have many requests, use the search and filter options to find what you need:
- Search by request number, title, or keywords in the description.
- Filter by status to see only open, completed, or cancelled requests.
- Filter by service to see requests for a specific service.
- Sort by date to see newest or oldest first.
Requests from Other Companies
If you submitted a request to another company through the B2B registry, it appears in your My Requests list just like internal requests. You can track it, see status updates, and add comments, even though it is being processed by a different organization.
